Winter Fair Planned in Historic Downtown

In an effort to bring shoppers to the city’s historic downtown, the Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a fair Dec. 6.

Activities will include free tours of the city’s oldest buildings, and vendors will be selling antique crafts along Amerige Avenue.

Organizers said they are hoping to make the “Winter Festival of Nostalgic Shopping and Dining” an annual event.
