Male Driver Sought in Hit-Run Accident
Police are continuing their search for the driver in a hit-and-run accident that left an Oxnard bicyclist with a broken leg, authorities said.
According to police, Conrado Godinez, 34, was riding his bicycle south on Rose Avenue and attempting to cross Camino del Sol about 4:15 p.m. Friday when a late-model brown station wagon, also traveling south on Rose Avenue, struck him and sped off.
Godinez suffered a broken left leg and was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Witnesses described the driver of the car as a male of unknown age.
