The Anteaters controlled the tempo in their 50-46 defeat by Pepperdine and will need to do so again, as Chico State will press to create a running game. The Wildcats have forced 80 turnovers in three games. Chico State is led by Derek Byrd, a 6-foot-6 forward, who averages 14 points.
