Casual Casualties

We’ve accepted the fact that L.A. is a casual city. And we’re comfortable with dress-down Fridays. But once and for all, people, casual does not apply to every social situation. Lately there’s been a disturbing trend. We caught party guests wearing sloppy, schlumpy, dreary outfits at dressy affairs such as movie premieres and opera performances. And some are celebrities--who should know better. We don’t want to call the fashion police, but we may be forced to. So consider this a warning.
