ESPN and four San Diego television outlets purchased between 1,500 and 1,600 tickets by Friday’s deadline to lift the local blackout for Sunday night’s game between the Chargers and Denver Broncos.

This will be the fourth game for which the Chargers needed corporate help to lift the blackout. Their first two home games were blacked out.

On the player front, Charger running back Gary Brown, linebacker Lew Bush and cornerback Dwayne Harper are all expected to be back Sunday, but as of Friday only Brown was slated to start.

Rookie safety Tremain Mack is back with the Cincinnati Bengals after a jail term and rehabilitation therapy for drunk driving, but the Bengals haven’t said whether Mack will play again this season.

“He will practice and get back into the swing of things, but this is something that is day-to-day, week-to-week and then we’ll see what we feel is best for the team,” General Manager Mike Brown said.

Mack was arrested Oct. 25 for driving under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended license.
