Reform Group Seeks Complaints on Lawyers
An Irvine watchdog group that keeps tabs on attorneys and judges wants information from residents who believe they have been burned by legal professionals.
Consumers for Legal Reform categorizes complaints against judges and lawyers and provides the information to consumers for a $50 fee.
The target market is those seeking to hire a lawyer for the first time, said founder Barbara Swist.
Swist asks that grievances be mailed to Consumers for Legal Reform, P.O. Box 5433, Irvine, CA 92616, by Oct. 15.
Information: (714) 433-4443.
