Day Runner Acquisition

Day Runner Inc. said Wednesday that it has acquired privately held Ram Manufacturing, Inc., a Little Rock, Ark., developer and manufacturer of wall boards, for about $2.4 million in cash.

Day Runner, which makes organizers and planners, also assumed about $3 million in Ram Manufacturing liabilities. Ram will operate as a division of Day Runner, with Ram’s current management and employees staying in place. Ram’s revenues for last year were approximately $5.3 million, Irvine-based Day Runner said.
