Newbury Park 42, Channel Islands 7--The Panther defense forced five turnovers that led to 21 points and James Bailey returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown for Newbury Park (4-0) at Channel Islands.

Nick Czernek completed a 20-yard touchdown pass to Paul Sanford to give Newbury Park a 21-7 halftime lead. Czernek completed 14 of 22 passes for 209 yards. Sanford had three receptions for 50 yards.
