Alpha Microsystems: The Santa Ana computer products and services company said it lost $798,000, or 7 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter ended Aug. 24, compared with a loss of $652,000, or 6 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue declined 25% to $4.6 million from $6.1 million. The company said the previous year’s results included operations that have since been divested. The net loss for the first half totaled $1.9 million, or 18 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $996,000, or 11 cents a share, for the comparable period last year. Sales were down 31% to $9.1 million from $13.2 million.
