Franklin Telecom to Double Headquarters Size

Share

Franklin Telecom has signed a lease to double its headquarters space in Westlake Village.

This comes on the heels of a separate expansion earlier this year. This move is being undertaken to accommodate increased production demands for Tempest hardware products, company officials said.

“We will use this additional space . . . to expand [the] FNet division and facilitate testing of the Tempest product line,” said Frank Peters, Franklin’s president and CEO. “This is also a first step toward . . . FNet becoming a stand-alone company.”

Franklin Telecom, founded in 1981, designs and manufactures communications devices, including high-speed local- and wide-area network products. Its subsidiaries, FNet and Internet Passport, provide services that use Franklin Telecom products.
