Latino Group Plans Oct. 23 Business Mixer

The Latino Leadership Council will hold a business mixer Oct. 23 at El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant to foster networking among commercial, government and nonprofit groups.

Group members typically host quarterly meetings featuring speakers on various topics important to the area’s Latino community. This time around, the goal is to discuss business in a relaxed setting, said Bill Turpit, a board member and head of Families-Costa Mesa, a nonprofit organization.

El Ranchito is at 2101 Placentia Ave. Reservations are preferred, and the event starts at 5 p.m.
