Micro Therapeutics’ Sales Up 77%

Micro Therapeutics Inc. said it will post a 77% gain in third-quarter sales, largely as a result of strong demand for its vascular products.

Sales for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 climbed to $727,476 from $411,536 a year ago. The company said sales for the first nine months of 1997 were $1.9 million, up 94% from $968,990 in the year-ago period.

The company, which develops minimally invasive medical devices, said it plans to release full financial results Wednesday.
