Police Searching for Hotel Robber

Ventura police are looking for a man who walked into the Pierpont Inn early Thursday morning and robbed the night clerk at gunpoint.
The man walked into the lobby of the hotel on Sanjon Road about 2:20 a.m., pulled out a handgun and demanded money.
The night clerk complied and the man ran out of the inn and jumped on a bicycle. He was last seen riding from the area.
The man was described as black, 25 to 30 years old, about 6 feet 3 and weighing 225 pounds.
