Proposed Retail Complex Would Include Theaters
A retail and entertainment development is being proposed in Signal Hill that would be as large as the other major shopping center in town and include the city’s first movie theaters.
The proposed 27-acre development on Atlantic Boulevard would include a supermarket, bookstore and retail shops.
“There really has not been much interest before in this site,” said Debbie Rich, Signal Hill’s director of economic development.
