Laguna Hills’ Daye Headed for USC

Anthony Daye, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker/fullback from Laguna Hills High, has orally committed to USC. Daye said he chose USC over Colorado.

“I really like the tradition there,” Daye said. “I loved the coaches and the academics. I want to be a lawyer and I know that’s a great place to get a degree from. This way my mom gets to see me play. It was too cold in Colorado anyway.”

Daye said he was recruited as an outside linebacker, but Coach John Robinson told him he might also play him at fullback.
