Bahais to Host Talk by Performing Artist

The Bahais of Fillmore will host a talk by performing artist Kevin Locke at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fillmore’s Ebell Club.

Locke is known for his revival of the Native American Lakota courting flute and hoop dance, said Bahai member Darrell Metcalf. The Lakotan will talk on the subjects of “The Oneness of Humanity and the Bahai Faith” at the free public meeting.

Locke has traveled to more than 70 countries performing the art forms of the Lakota people, and his traditional flute albums have sold 200,000 copies. The Ebell Club is at 407 2nd St. For more information, call Metcalf at 524-1747.
