Vote Down Measure for School Bonds
Here we go again! Our great leaders of Ventura County are turning on the tear-jerking action. They know that we love our kids. They realize that the best way to get more money from us overburdened taxpayers is to tell us that they need more money for schools.
They know that they wasted enormous amounts of taxpayers’ funds for many less important projects. Now, they claim, there is no more.
It is amazing how ignorant many voters are, falling for these political plots. These government “managers” should learn to do what the working family has done for centuries: Live within your means, plan ahead and use the money you earn wisely.
There is no reason for the voters to approve Measure T. This does not mean that we don’t want the best for our children; no, it means that we have recognized the conniving style of our local leaders. Remember, the same children who are supposed to benefit from Measure T will repay the interest charged for the proposed bonds over many years!
There are ample funds available. Use them for the upgrading of the schools and don’t bother us again with these tricks. Vote no on Measure T!
