Warner Bros. has promoted Mark Reina to vice president of publicity.

Reina had been director of national publicity working in New York. Now he will work at Warner Bros.’ studios complex in Burbank.

Previously, Reina had worked for Universal Pictures in publicity, and he’s held various posts with Warner Bros. for seven years.

* Howard E. Green, a 21-year veteran of Disney’s publicity and marketing department, has been promoted to vice president of studio communications for Buena Vista Pictures Marketing, the entertainment company said.

Green will be responsible for internal and external communication, including news releases for Disney, Touchstone and Hollywood Pictures, as well as speeches for senior studio officials.

* Leonard A. “Tim” Miskel of Ventura has been appointed to the Trust, Estate and Gift Tax committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The institute, with headquarters in New York, represents more than 360,000 CPAs throughout the United States. Service on its technical committees requires extensive professional experience in a particular area.

Miskel is president of his own company and has been practicing in the field of taxation, trusts, and estate and gift taxes for more than 30 years.

* Cindy Barry has joined the team of mortgage bankers at Rogers CMS in Oxnard. Previously with Accubank Mortgage in Ventura, she has extensive experience in FHA Mortgage guidelines and will provide customer support to real estate agents.
