Technology Fair Scheduled at UCI

A “who’s who” of technology companies will be represented at the 15th annual Technical Career Fair on Wednesday at UC Irvine.
The public fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Ring Mall Road, near UCI’s School of Engineering and department of information and computer science.
From Ingram Micro to Printronix to Hughes Electronics Corp., an estimated 100 companies--up 30% from last year--are sending representatives to speak about career opportunities at their companies.
“If students bring just one thing with them, it should definitely be their resume, since most of the companies participating will be recruiting for career as well as part-time and internship positions,” said Lisa Patterson, with UCI’s Career Center. Information: (714) 824-6881.
