Fund-Raiser Planned for East West Players

Canton Jazz Club Casino Night, a funding-raising event for the Asian American theater company East West Players’ new theater in Little Tokyo, will be held Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. at the Regal Biltmore Hotel, 506 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles.
The event will re-create a 1940s “gangster” nightclub atmosphere and offer gaming and entertainment. Tickets are $50.
