3.0 Aftershock 2 Miles From City

A 3.0-magnitude aftershock of the 1994 Northridge earthquake rumbled through Simi Valley late Saturday, authorities reported.

Centered about two miles southeast of the city, the aftershock was felt about 9 p.m., according to Caltech seismologists.

The Simi Valley Police Department and Ventura County Fire Department reported no calls from residents concerning the quake.
