Amplicon Inc.: The Santa Ana company, which leases and sells computers and telecommunications equipment, reported that first-quarter net income increased 25% to $4 million, or 34 cents a share, from $3.2 million, or 27 cents a share, for the first quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 20% to $80 million from $66.5 million.
