In a lackluster post-holiday weekend, Steven Seagal’s latest action-thriller, “Fire Down Below,” slugged its way to No. 1, with a three-day total of $6.1 million, knocking Demi Moore’s “G.I. Jane” out of the top position. “G.I. Jane,” which had been champ for two weeks, took in $5.3 million for second place.

“Men in Black” celebrated its 10th week in the Top 10 with a weekend total of $1.8 million and a cumulative gross of $237.3 million.
