A lot of players have lost a lot of tournaments to Tiger Woods since he turned pro. Peter Jacobsen lost his caddie.

“It’s been tough getting used to a new guy,” Jacobsen said Friday after shooting 65 to move to nine-under-par 133, tied with Bill Glasson for the second-round lead of the CVS Charity Classic at Sutton, Mass.

Jacobsen was laid up at home in Portland, Ore., with a bad back last year when Woods was playing in the U.S. Amateur at Pumpkin Ridge. Woods asked if he could borrow Mike “Fluff” Cowan when he turned pro.

Glasson shot a second-round 67 on the par-71, 7,110-yard Pleasant Valley Country Club course.
