London’s Westminster Abbey, site of Princess Diana’s funeral earlier this month, plans to begin charging tourists an entrance fee of about $8 next March in an effort to reduce tourist noise that church leaders say is destroying the church’s serenity. Worshipers still will be admitted free. . . . Sea World in San Diego this weekend opened a 4,300-square-foot pavilion called Plaza Del Sol that uses interactive exhibits and videos to showcase Latino achievements in business, culture and sports. A similar pavilion opened last month at Sea World in San Antonio. . . . Las Vegas this year replaced Orlando, Fla., as the top fall destination in the U.S. booked by agents surveyed by the American Society of Travel Agents. And two-thirds said business this fall is brisker than last fall. . . . About 150 engravings, etchings and woodcuts by Picasso, chosen from the Picasso Museum in Paris, go on display Thursday through Dec. 21 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
