City to Help Mark Schools Centennial
Anaheim Union High School District’s centennial celebration will get a financial boost from the city. The City Council has allocated $5,000 to support the event.
City staff members reviewed the request for financial assistance by district officials and determined that it qualifies for city co-sponsorship because it is community- based and of citywide significance.
The district is preparing for its 100th birthday celebration. Events are planned throughout the school year, starting this fall. Information: (714) 999-3511.
