Resumes Solicited for Water District Panel
Supervisor Kathy Long is seeking a resident of the Santa Rosa Valley or Somis area to sit on a five-member committee that advises the Board of Supervisors on ground water management, water quality and water rate issues.
Long is accepting resumes from her constituents who live or pay water bills in Waterworks District 19.
The waterworks district serves about 996 customers, 250 of whom are agricultural users and account for 80% of the district’s water sales.
The citizens advisory committee meets on the fourth Thursday of every other month at 3:30 p.m. in the district’s Moorpark office, 7150 Walnut Canyon Road.
Resumes can be sent to Long at the Ventura County Government Center, 800 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura, 93009.
