The city of Moorpark and the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce are seeking teenage performers for their Country Days Teen Talent Show on Sept. 27.

“We’re looking for a wide variety of talent,” said Shelly Shellabarger, the city’s recreation superintendent. “We’re looking at this as a way to provide a little excitement to the local teens and for those who have talents they want to showcase.”

The show, which features popular local deejay Doc Dewberry, will last from 1 to 4 p.m. during Country Days, a one-day western-themed celebration. The talent show competition, for those age 11 to 17, might include performances from singers, musicians, cheerleaders and magicians.
