Haun Jurors Deliberate for 6 Hours on 1st Full Day
Jurors in the Diana Haun trial deliberated for about six hours Monday without reaching a verdict, in the first full day of deliberations since they received the high-profile murder case Friday.
Haun, a 36-year-old grocery clerk from Port Hueneme, is charged with murder, kidnapping and conspiracy in the slaying of Sherri Dally, the wife of her lover, Michael Dally. He faces the same charges and is to be tried after Haun. Both Dally and Haun could face the death penalty if convicted.
The jury in the Haun trial is scheduled to resume deliberations this morning at Ventura County Superior Court.
