Clinton Attackers

In his Sept. 17 commentary, Robert McElvaine theorizes character assassinations leveled at President Clinton have not hurt the president’s popularity because the president is made of gelatin. I have a different theory.

According to my theory, the character assassins like McElvaine who regularly attack the president have not been able to hurt the president because the public realizes what those character assassins are made of.
