Jewish Center Plans High Holiday Singles Services

The Jewish Community Center of Orange County will have Jewish High Holiday services for singles this week. Rosh Hashana will be celebrated at 8 p.m. Wednesday and at 10 a.m. Thursday. Then Yom Kippur services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday and at 10 a.m. next Saturday. The cost is $28 for members and $36 for others. New JCC Singles members are admitted free. At 5:30 p.m., the center will have a gala celebration ball honoring Sen. Barbara Boxer at Twin Palms Restaurant in Newport Beach. The cost is $175 per guest. The center is at 250 E.
