Cypress 3, Fullerton 2--Ed Marquez hit a two-run triple to lead Cypress (16-13, 8-7), which scored three times in the fifth. Ron Corona (2-2) got the victory for the Chargers.

Riverside 12, Orange Coast 1--Visiting Riverside (22-6, 11-4) scored nine times in the ninth to blow open a close game. Cody Trask (8-2) pitched a five-hitter for Riverside, which moved 2 1/2 games in front of Santa Ana.

Saddleback 9, Cypress 0--Saddleback won its fourth consecutive conference championship. The Gauchos, 45-1 in conference for the past four years, suffered their only loss to Golden West in 1997.
