ARKANSAS : Whitewater Jury’s Term Is Running Out

The federal grand jury investigating President Clinton’s dealings in Arkansas reconvenes today with its time running out. Independent counsel Kenneth W. Starr suggested two weeks ago that he might not need another grand jury in Little Rock. The panel’s term is set to expire May 7. The Whitewater investigation has produced charges against 17 people, leading to 15 convictions.
