Couple Night: A good Friday night is dinner and a movie with my wife, Simone. We like to go to Mr. Chow, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Lawry’s. For movies, the theater on Universal CityWalk is the place to be. If we’re there, we may go to Gladstone’s for dinner before.

Sleepless Mornings: There’s nothing better on a Saturday morning than sleeping. Of course that never happens, since my kids (who are 8, 7 and 2) always wake me up early. Either they are jumping on me in bed or they are jumping on each other in the living room and I’m listening to it.

Kids Rule: When I’m on a break from filming “Halloween H2O,” we’ll have a Saturday kid day. After we get up, we watch whatever they want to watch on TV and then go out for lunch, their choice. That’s usually Chuck E. Cheese.

Shooting Hoops: I have a basketball hoop at my house and usually in the afternoons my crew comes over and we play a little hoops, you know, we make it hot.

A Big Haul: About once a month, I go shopping for music, usually at Tower on Sunset. I buy all the CDs I can get my hands on, which is sometimes 30 or 40. I appreciate all kinds of music. It’s just whatever mode I’m in.
