Update--The Galaxy has outscored its three opponents, 7-5, and the MetroStars have been outscored in their two games, 5-2. New York/New Jersey is coming off a 2-0 shutout loss to the Wizards at Kansas City, a game in which Eduardo Hurtado made his debut without ever having practiced with the team. Galaxy Coach Octavio Zambrano has used a different starting lineup in each game so far, and the introduction of Wellington Sanchez will continue that streak today. Welton, last season’s leading scorer for the Galaxy, has a goal in each game this season.
