GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS
High Technology Solutions Inc. of San Diego won a $2.8-million contract from the Navy in Point Mugu for professional, administrative and management support services.
* Xontech Inc. of Van Nuys won a $1-million contract from the Army in Huntsville, Ala., for research and development.
* Hydro Mill Co. of Chatsworth won a $696,410 contract from Hill Air Force Base in Utah for aircraft components and accessories.
* Lear Astronics of Ontario won a $570,298 contract from the Navy at Port Hueneme for ships and marine equipment.
* Union Engineering Co. in Ventura has been awarded a contract for $261,152 from the county of Ventura to clean out the Real Debris Basin just north of Center Street in Piru. The project calls for removal of debris deposited during the March storms.
The project, already underway, is expected to be completed May 1.
* Llamas Plastics Inc. of Sylmar won a $234,600 contract from the Defense General Supply Center in Richmond, Va., for aircraft and airframe structural components.
* Burns-Pacific Construction in Thousand Oaks has been awarded a contract for $198,422 from Ventura County to clean out the Gabbert Debris Basin, half a mile north of Los Angeles Avenue on Gabbert Channel in Moorpark. The project calls for the removal of about 51,000 cubic yards of debris and silt left by the February and March storms.
The project, already underway, is expected to be completed by Friday.
* Datron / Transco Inc. of Simi Valley won a $165,184 contract from Robins Air Force Base in Georgia for electrical and electronic equipment components.
* Hydromach Inc. of Canoga Park won a $141,535 contract from Hill Air Force Base in Utah for aircraft components and accessories.
CNM Paving of Camarillo has been awarded a contract for $127,786 from Ventura County to make a left-turn lane on Lewis Road at Cawelti Road, just south of Camarillo. The project involves widening Lewis Road to make room for the new lane.
The work is scheduled to be completed by May 26.
* Pacific Sky Supply Inc. of Sun Valley won a $66,500 contract from Kelly Air Force Base in Texas for engines, turbines and components.
