Dennis Isleib has been named senior vice president and manager of City National Bank’s San Fernando Valley Commercial Banking Center.

Isleib’s group will focus on mid-sized companies and entrepreneurs in the Valley area, as well as commercial real estate and investment services. Isleib is a 24-year veteran of the banking industry and previously worked for Union Bank of California and Security Pacific Bank.

City National Bank has $5.3 billion in assets and has 37 offices throughout Southern California.

* Robert M. Luczak has been appointed marketing and business development manager for medical products at Condor D.C. Power Supplies in Oxnard. He will be responsible for developing plans for current and new medical products, plus overseeing the company’s new ventures and continuing expansion in the medical electronics industry.

Condor, a subsidiary of SL Industries, makes commercial and medical power supplies.

* American Commercial Bank has honored Cheri Gibson as Employee of the Year for 1997. She has been with ACB for 17 years.

Gibson, who was given an eagle sculpture and $1,000, was selected for the award by a committee of fellow employees.

* Paula Chirco-Swanson has joined Michael David & Co. Commercial Real Estate Services in Oxnard. She will specialize in commercial sales and leasing.

Chirco-Swanson was previously with Montecito Bank & Trust.

* Gail Smith, assistant property manager at Seville Property Management in Ventura, has earned her real estate license. Her responsibilities at Seville include trust account reconciliations, payables and receivables, tenant relations and advertising.

She is a member of the Ventura and Oxnard chambers of commerce.

* Karin McArthur has been named supervisor of military accounting at Hilford Moving & Storage. She will be responsible for billing all intrastate and international military moves.

Hilford is an agent of Allied Van Lines.

* Mathew Fowler of House Sanitary Supply in Ventura was awarded a certificate of achievement for completing a sales seminar in Toledo, Ohio, with Spartan Chemical Co.

House Sanitary Supply is an authorized distributor of Spartan’s maintenance products.

* Craig Stevens has been appointed vice president of operations for Mail Manager Inc. in Ventura. Stevens has been with the company since 1990.

Mail Manager provides direct mailing services.

* Alan Tate has joined the Doubletree Hotel in Ventura as director of sales and marketing. He has been a sales and marketing task force specialist for both Doubletree Pasadena and Doubletree Guest Suites, Santa Monica.

Tate replaces Robert Routh, who now works for Mission Inn in Riverside.

* Pamela Beardsley has been hired as manager of Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura. She has more than 17 years’ experience in the funeral business.

Beardsley will manage the 66-acre facility and its 15 employees. The cemetery is overseen by a five-member board of directors selected from surrounding communities.
