Women’s World Cup Tickets Are Available

Tickets for the 1999 Women’s World Cup Games, tentatively scheduled June 19-July 10, can be purchased at discount prices during the United States-Argentina exhibition match, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Titan Stadium.

World Cup tickets will be sold in stadium series packages and prices include all games at a venue. The U.S. team is expected to play at each site but Portland, providing it advances through the tournament.

The sites, number of games and ticket prices: Rose Bowl, two games (third-place game and championship), $40-$100; Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., four games (including opening ceremonies), $48-$115; Foxboro Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., five games, $66-$155; Soldier Field in Chicago, four games, $36-$80; Portland’s Civic Stadium, seven games, $76-$168; Spartan Stadium in San Jose and Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, five games, $78-$190; Jack Kent Cooke Stadium in Raljon, Md., six games, $66-$155.
