Bozo may be known for his TV appearances but he’ll be right where he belongs when the 110th Anniversary Los Angeles Shrine Circus comes to the Shrine Auditorium. The dazzling show features elephants, clowns, aerialists and more during nine shows today through Sunday. Free rides, games and prizes also are available two hours before each performance. For the first time, two of the shows will be presented in Spanish.

Assisted by the much-admired Robert McDonald at the piano, the legendary Isaac Stern returns to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in recital mode, offering violin-and-piano sonatas by Bach, Enesco and Brahms and a brace of pieces by Fritz Kreisler.

8 pm: Jazz

Jazz radio station KLON-FM (88.1)’s jazz club caravan is the city’s most congenial music crawl, with a fleet of buses shuttling fans between some 15 area clubs and such bands as saxophonist Teddy Edwards’ quartet, the Phil Norman Tentet, keyboardist Don Randi & Quest, pianist Cecilia Coleman’s quintet and drummer Frank Capp’s quintet with vocalist Barbara Morrison. One price covers all shuttle service and gets you into all participating clubs.
