Council Members Named Mayor, Vice Mayor
City Council members Sandra J. Levin and Richard Marcus have been appointed mayor and vice mayor, respectively.
They were sworn in this week along with newly elected Councilman David Hauptman and reelected incumbents Ed Wolkowitz and City Clerk Tom Crunk.
Former council member Mike Balkman was ineligible to run again because of the city’s term-limit ordinance.
A new chair of the Redevelopment Agency, to replace Marcus, will be chosen at the group’s May 4 meeting.
