Scotts Valley-based Borland International Inc. said it is changing its name to Inprise Corp. to identify itself more closely with the software it makes for integrating different computer systems and programs. Inprise is a shortened version of the company’s objective of “integrating the enterprise.” The change must be approved at Borland’s annual meeting June 5.
