Cynthia Cooper scored 32 points, including 18 of Houston’s 20 in a 6:14 span in the first half, and the Comets beat the Utah Starzz, 77-57, Tuesday night at Salt Lake City to clinch the WNBA Western Conference title.
A Starzz record crowd of 15,657 attended as upper-deck tickets were sold for $1.
