* Rock. The classic rock band the Spencer Davis Group will resurrect its bygone hits at Conejo Community Park on Aug. 16. Remember the tunes “Gimme Some Lovin,’ ” “I’m a Man” or “Keep On Runnin’ ”? The opening act for the free concert will be the acoustic band Aspen. Concert time: 5 p.m. Bring your picnic stuff, blankets and lawn chairs, but leave the pets at home. (805) 495-2163.

* Nautical. The third annual Ventura County Boat Show will be held Aug. 13-16 at the Marine Emporium Landing at Channel Islands Harbor. Billed as “the county’s only major in-the-water show,” the exposition will feature new and used boats, including sailboats, yachts, fishing vessels, cruisers and more. There will also be marine-related vendors, food, entertainment and other activities. Opening day, $1. Thereafter, $3. * Reggae. Toots Hibbert, one of the great names of reggae, will perform with his band, the Maytals, at the Ventura Theatre on Aug. 14. Hibbert combines a deep appreciation of American R & B with a celebration of early ska music. Show time: 8 p.m. $18. The theater is at 26 S. Chestnut St. (805) 653-0721.

* Health. ShowAmerica will present its Health & Fitness, Wealth & Wisdom Exposition on Aug. 15 and 16 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Auditorium. Many of the 200 exhibitors will offer seminars throughout the weekend. Guest speakers will include doctors, Olympic gold medalists, authors of bestsellers, legal and financial experts, and more. Parents can check out the Parenting Pavilion, which will offer information on health, financial planning and education for kids. $12 admission is good for both days. A portion of proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross. Hours: 11 a.m.-6 p.m. both days. The auditorium is at 2100 E.
