Kiosks Offer Updates on Freeway Project
Interactive video kiosks were placed at the Amtrak station and Anaheim Plaza OfficeMax on Wednesday to provide updated information about the Santa Ana Freeway construction project.
The computerized kiosks, with information in English and Spanish, play a 20-minute video about the $1.1-billion freeway widening project. Using a touch-screen menu, users can select information about the project. Menu items include renderings of the freeway improvements, which include car-pool lanes and ramp upgrades.
The Amtrak station is at 2150 E. Katella Ave. in the north corner of Edison Field. OfficeMax is at 620 N. Euclid St. The video kiosks will be at the two sites through Sept. 16.
