Town Hall Meeting Set on Airport Expansion

Share

A town hall meeting will be held today in Inglewood to discuss how the proposal to expand the passenger and cargo volume at Los Angeles International Airport could affect residents in the area.

The meeting will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Gladys Waddington Lecture Hall at the Inglewood Library, 101 W. Manchester Blvd.

Issues to be discussed include how the expansion could affect family health, the pluses and minuses of signing an agreement to have a home soundproofed, airplane flight paths over Inglewood and what can be done to stop the expansion.
