Glasgow, who plays at Pepperdine, joined Brenda Corrie Kuehn of Fletcher, N.C., and Virginia Derby of Montgomery, Ala., in breaking the middle tees women’s record of 71 set by Babe Didrickson Zaharias in 1948.

Five players were one shot back of the lead and eight others, including Coto de Caza’s Kellee Booth, trailed by two.
