Work on Railroad Crossings Continues
In an effort to provide a smoother ride at some railroad crossings in the city, road repairs are continuing, most recently on Dale Avenue between Katella and Cerritos Avenue.
The following streets will be affected as work continues: Magnolia Avenue on Monday, Katella Avenue on Aug. 24, Western Avenue on Aug. 31 and Beach Boulevard on Sept. 7. Workers will repair signal arms, tracks and concrete panels.
The repairs will take up to five days to complete at each location. Detours will be posted for closures, and access will be provided for local residents and businesses.
