1,000 Children Expected at Annual Youth Festival
About 1,000 children are expected to attend the city’s annual Youth Festival today at Clover Park, officials said.
The celebration will include entertainment, food, 20-cent game booths, a karate demonstration, performances by children attending city day camps and the Police Activities League, and an appearance by the WNBA L.A. SparKids, a dance group that performs at L.A. Sparks games.
The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Clover Park, 2600 Ocean Park Blvd. Admission is free.
