Two men, the last remaining suspects sought by investigators in connection with an alleged hate crime assault in Cypress, were arrested Wednesday in Phoenix, police said.

Ryan Bill Marsau of Buena Park and Ryan Scott Mozer of Riverside, both 22, were taken into custody by Phoenix police.

The two suspects, who police say are part of a white supremacy gang, are suspected of taking part in an Aug. 3 assault and stabbing at Cypress Family Billiards on Ball Road, Cypress Police Sgt. David Birozy said.

About 9:15 that evening, police said, the two suspects and five other males walked into the pool hall, allegedly looking for a black man and his white girlfriend. When the men failed to find the couple, they attacked a 34-year-old Latino man in the parking lot, breaking a beer bottle over his head, police said. When two friends of the victim came to his aid, they were beaten and stabbed, Birozy said.

Police allege Marsau and Mozer stabbed the victims. Five other suspects already are in custody.

Authorities said they soon expect to extradite the two latest suspects to Orange County, Birozy said.
