The district is hoping to distribute thousands of copies of the book during the next four weekends.
The first giveaway is today at the Ventura Kmart, 1739 S. Victoria Ave., from 2 to 5 p.m. It will be hosted by 105.5 FM, The Breeze.
Other giveaways will be at the Moorpark Kmart on Aug. 30, the Thousand Oaks Kmart Sept. 6 and the Simi Valley Kmart Sept. 13.
